Your librarian can help you find resources (books, articles, websites, statistics, etc.) for your essay. In order to receive the librarian's signature on your EE checklist, you must show valid sources related to your essay. Start with a preliminary meeting to get recommendations of quality sources. Do this early. Do not wait until after the deadline. During your first meeting, tell the librarian what your thesis statement or essay topic is. Be as specific as possible. The librarian will suggest relevant sources of information and help you develop a search strategy. During your second meeting, present the resources you have found and plan to use. If the sources are good quality, relevant, and balanced, the librarian will sign your checklist. These interactions are the minimum.
